Why subscribe to Validity?

Crypto opinion is unashamedly binary. You’re either buying or selling. A maximalist or a shitcoiner.

Validity, the official newsletter of EthereumPrice.org, aims to provide a critical take on this binary and oftentimes tribal market.

With its roots firmly held in fundamental analysis, Validity provides weekly opinion from investors who spend their careers studying, using and investing in Ethereum and its associated tech.

This includes but is by no means limited to:

  • Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

  • ETH 1.x and on-chain scaling

  • ETH 2 development

  • Blockchain gaming

  • Hacks, exploits and vulnerabilities

We do not read charts.

Who is Nick Cannon?

Nick is the owner and editor of EthereumPrice.org. His crypto-story began in 2011 when the US banned online poker, forcing players into the regulatory grey area of Bitcoin betting.

Nick, a professional poker player at the time, unwittingly found himself peeping through the cracks of the existing financial system to see a glimpse of what Bitcoin might enable on the other side.

Several years on and these expectations have been shattered and surpassed time and again.

Since 2011, Nick has weathered countless market crashes and has seen all manner of fear, uncertainty and doubt. He’s of the opinion that public scepticism remains irrationally high, resulting in an unprecedented asymmetry of information and favoring investors who are willing to research and understand the fundamental value proposition of these technologies.

Despite being an outwardly bullish Ethereum-investor, he also remains highly critical of the blockchain in many respects.
